So much so, in fact, that I ran a full-blown experiment on myself.

For an entire year, I posted 3 reels every single day (yes, really) on a faceless Instagram account. I didn’t show my face. I used trending sounds and remixed viral reels. I scheduled 3+ story slides every day. I followed all the “rules” — consistency, branding, hashtags, timing. My reach exploded. Followers rolled in. It looked like it was working.

But here’s what didn’t happen:

• Not a single sale

• Barely any email opt-ins

• Zero qualified leads

• Crickets in the DMs

I had built a visually beautiful, algorithm-optimized content machine — and it was a complete ghost town when it came to conversions.
