Two Business-Growth Opportunities Worth Checking Out This Weekend
Two Business-Growth Opportunities Worth Checking Out This Weekend
Apparently this is one of those weeks when everything is happening at once.
Between my Wake Up To Etsy Sales masterclass, upcoming summit work, interviews, and other collaborations, there has been no shortage of ways to learn something new about growing an online business.
And two more opportunities crossed my desk that I thought were worth sharing.
They’re very different from each other, but they both solve an important problem:
How do you get more of the right people to discover your business?
Because you can create an amazing product, build a beautiful Etsy shop, offer a fantastic service, or develop the perfect course…
But if nobody knows it exists, making consistent sales is going to be difficult.
Here are two resources that may help.
Opportunity #1: Join Me at Be Seen. Be Heard. Get Paid. 2026
I’ll be speaking at Be Seen. Be Heard. Get Paid. 2026 along with other business owners and experts sharing strategies to help you turn visibility into sales.
And this one is a little different from many of the free online events I share. Tickets are $9.85 for TWO tickets. That means you can attend and bring a business friend with you for less than $10 total.
If you have a friend who is also building a business, selling online, or trying to figure out how to bring in more customers, this could be a fun opportunity to learn together.
I’ll be talking about The Simple Sales Ecosystem that brings you leads and sales without spending your life online, and I’ll be sharing practical strategies you can actually use in your business.

Opportunity #2: Find People Who Already Have Your Future Customers
The second opportunity is completely different — and this one is free.
One of the hardest parts of growing a business is building an audience. Most business owners assume they have to do all of that from scratch.
More Instagram followers. More Facebook followers. More Pinterest traffic. More email subscribers. More content.
And yes, growing your own audience matters. But there is another strategy that can dramatically shorten the process:
Partner with people who already have an audience.
This is one of the reasons I’ve become such a big believer in collaborations, interviews, summits, guest appearances, and cross-promotions.
Instead of trying to find every potential customer one person at a time, you can get introduced to an audience that someone else has already spent years building.
The challenge, of course, is finding those people.
That’s where List Match comes in.
My friend Bryan has built a database of 1,214 email list owners who have indicated that they are interested in collaborations such as list swaps and promotions.
The database includes information such as:
Their audience size
Their website
Their industry
So instead of spending hours searching for potential collaboration partners and wondering whether they are even open to working together, you have a place to start.

And no, you do not need to contact all 1,214 people. In fact, I wouldn’t.
I would start by identifying just 5–10 people whose audience is a genuinely good match for what you sell. A few strong partnerships can be far more valuable than hundreds of random connections.
You Don’t Need to Do Everything
One thing I want to make very clear:
You do not need to sign up for every event, download every resource, or try every marketing strategy I share. There will always be another course. Another webinar. Another social media strategy. Another shiny new tool.
The goal is to identify the opportunities that make sense for where your business is right now.
If you want more training and ideas, take a look at [EVENT NAME].
If your biggest challenge is getting your business in front of more people, I would definitely take a look at List Match.
And if neither one is what you need right now?
Skip them.
The best strategy is always the one you will actually use.

Sometimes growing a business doesn’t mean doing more.
Sometimes it means finding a faster path to the people who already need what you sell.
