We’re finally home from our Thanksgiving trip, and my heart feels full in that way it only does after a few days surrounded by family.
The kids had an absolutely wonderful time with their cousins, running around outside, playing every sport imaginable, and eating everything in sight. We got to visit with our oldest son (my mama heart needed that), and our daughter’s boyfriend came too, which made the house feel even more lively and complete.
We cooked, we laughed, we shopped, we played games, we ate a huge feast… all the good holiday things.
And in true Boggs-family fashion, we ended the nights curled up on the couch catching up on Stranger Things so we’ll be ready for the new season.

My Parents’ Garden Always Inspires Me
Every time we visit my parents, I swear I come home wanting to bulldoze my entire yard. Their garden is just… magic. Even at the end of November, I was able to pick the most gorgeous bouquet of roses — big, fragrant, old-fashioned blooms in the prettiest crimson and cream colors. I brought them inside and made the kind of arrangement you’d expect to see in a summer wedding.
There’s something about tending beauty, even in winter, that reminds me why I love the life and business I’ve built. Freedom, creativity, family, simple pleasures... that’s the whole point.

Settling Back In… With Gratitude
Now we’re back home; suitcases half-unpacked, kids worn out but happy, the house a little quieter than it was a few days ago. I’m making tea, admiring my end-of-November rose bouquet, and feeling deeply thankful for every bit of it.
