A Little Fall Treasure Hunt: Save 15% at Mandaline on eBay!

It's been quite a week around our house!

First, we hosted 19 teenage boys from my son's cross-country team for a big pasta dinner.

If you've never fed 19 teenage runners, let me tell you... they can put away some spaghetti!

We had garlic bread, cookies, and s'mores, too, and it was such a fun evening.

Even better, the next day the boys brought home gold medals!

Our daughter has also been home from college for fall break, so it's been wonderful having everyone around.

And because apparently I didn't think I had quite enough going on, we've also been working on the yard, spreading topsoil and getting things reseeded.

My back has been reminding me that I'm not quite as young as I used to be!

Every Old Doll Has a Story

One of the things I've always loved about vintage dolls is imagining where they've been.

Was that beautiful little doll somebody's most treasured Christmas present?

Did she sit on a little girl's bed for years before being packed away in an attic?

Was she loved so much that her hair became tangled, her dress faded, or her eyes stopped opening and closing?

That's how my own doll business began nearly three decades ago.

With a bag of broken dolls that most people would have thrown away.

I saw something different.

I saw dolls that could be repaired, restored, and loved again.

And over the years, I've had the pleasure of helping countless dolls find their way into the hands of collectors and families who appreciate them.

Some are beautiful display pieces. Others need a little attention. And some are just waiting for the right person to recognize how special they are.

That's why I still enjoy running my eBay shop after all these years.
