It may look like I haven’t been doing much of anything lately… I’ve been taking a break from social media and blogging and the Internet in general for the past several days. We had a much-anticipated snowstorm that delivered a few inches of perfect fluffy flakes and good packing snow for snowmen, only to be ruined by ice. We stayed in all weekend and even today the schools are delayed due to icy roads. 

Our daughter returned to her university, thankfully without incident during her drive, so the weekend was spent helping her prepare, cooking all her favorite foods, and just spending time together. I’m so lucky to be able to just step away when I want and still make money as my business runs itself!

I just really needed a break from Meta in particular. They’ve changed the Instagram algorithm again and no amount of posting has worked to get views or engagement. I would think they might view Twitter as a cautionary tale; ruining the functionality while at the same time forcing everyone on the site to put up with all kinds of vile trolls because you ended fact checking isn’t exactly a recipe for growth!

Don’t think I haven’t been hard at work, however. I’ve been slaving away on the 2025 Income Kickstart and testing it out on my own business and I actually can’t believe how well it works!
